1.    Recording Transactions: Record and post all financial
transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in the accounting
software.
2.    Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Track money
owed to suppliers (accounts payable) and money owed by customers (accounts
receivable) and ensure timely payments and collections.
3.    Reconciling Bank Statements: Compare and categorize the items
in the company's bank statements with its internal records to ensure accuracy and
identify any discrepancies.
4.    Preparing Financial Statements: Prepare and
generate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and
cash flow statements, for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
to aid in decision-making and compliance, which also provide insights into the
financial health and performance of the business
5.    Maintaining General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger,
which is a complete record of all financial transactions categorized by
accounts.
6.    Monitoring Cash Flow: Track the flow of cash in and out of the business to ensure
there is enough liquidity to meet financial obligations.
7.    Assisting with Budgeting: Help in creating and monitoring
budgets, providing valuable insights into spending patterns and financial
goals.
