I have been working since 2002. My very first job was with our City Hall, The City Government. I worked as an Accounting Clerk III. I handled the subsidiary ledger, computed withholding taxes. The accounting software used was Intuit Quickbooks. We have it only for 3 yrs as the government launched their own software, NGAS, New Government Accounting Software. While in the launching process, Quickbooks served as our back up. I left my job and tried my luck in the BPO industry. I started as CSR, then TSR and finally landed a job that is in the Accounting field. During those times that I worked as a Credit Controller, Sr. Collections Associate and Sr. Collections Analyst, my A/R management and Reconciliation skills were enhanced and I can say became my forte. I have implemented strategies that would help us in the collection process. I send out monthly statements to customer, call customers for Reconciliation and discuss issues that are affecting their ability to pay us on time. Also making sure remittances are sent and payments are applied correctly, that is payment should offset the right voucher.
