- Preparation of tax returns and other monthly returns such as Activity Statements needed using different software such as APS,
XPA,
MYOB,
Xero and Quick Books
- Preparation of financial statements and compliance including the minutes, dividend statements and cover letter
- Assisting in daily operation using Navision and Reckon software including cash receipting, payment journals, purchase invoices, credit notes, inventory and month end reporting
- Analyzation of the tax payments as well as tax planning for the client to minimize their taxes
- Management of ATO correspondence and clients' tax accounts
- Processing of payroll and superannuation
- Preparing various month-end journal entries, supporting files, reconciliations, and other close related items
- Handling day to day office administration duties, including correspondences and billings, replying to clients basic enquiries and acting on behalf of clients in dealing with government agencies (i.e. Australian Tax Office, Office of State Revenue) with regards to client’s tax affairs
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly BAS and IAS
- Assist in conducting internal research and provide recommended solutions to complex tax issues.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting preparations for clients business
- Provide first point of contact with client
- Communication with Australian Taxation Office in behalf of the client such as payment plan arrangement and other concerns
- Managing the Annual Company Statement of the clients from Australian Securities and Investment Commission
