I am by profession, a Civil Engineer, who has been for many years honed to do both the technical and administration of a property. I was trained to perform basic accounting for non-accountants and to do sales including leasing and after-sales services also. Property Management is a really broad task with one common goal and that is to enhance the property value.
Most of my project engagement in the previous years is physical and actual on-site management but I learned that there have been a lot of property managers like me who engage in a project, virtually. This is the challenge that I would like to take.
Experience: 5 - 10 years
As a Civil Engineer, I used to work for a construction company as a Material Engineer, an Estimator and as a Cost Engineer for more than 5 years. I was assigned to different project sites to monitor the cost and process project billing. In the process I became very adept in the use of MS Excel.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
When I was the Property Manager of a horizontal housing of 1000 homeowners, we gave emphasis on customer service as there was only ground maintenance to oversee. Our job focused more on people management instead of property. We made sure that prerequisites to move-ins are met and that customers or homeowners are satisfied with their housing units. Complaints and disputes were well taken of in a timely manner.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
I have been selling housing developments and brokerage in the region for 2 years now and have been an awardee in the first quarter of last year.
