My writing mentor and past clients often say that I have one of the wildest and most diverse resumes. And honestly, they’re not wrong. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across different fields and industries, picking up valuable skills along the way.

I graduated with a degree in BS Psychology and started my career as an HR Assistant at one of the biggest companies in the Philippines. I worked there from 2018 to 2021 until I was laid off due to the pandemic. Since this was my first job, it shaped me in many ways and made me realize that I genuinely enjoy administrative work.

Then, I transitioned to the BPO industry and worked as a Content Moderator for eight months. This was my first remote job, and I was really proud of it as I helped filter social media content to ensure a safe online space for users.

It was also during this time that I discovered remote work suited me best, so I started looking for opportunities in the online professional services industry.

Writing has always been a big part of my life. Since 4th grade, I’ve been creating literary pieces, articles, and blogs. In college, I realized that writing is my passion. So, when I learned I could actually turn my passion into a profession, I jumped at the chance.

I started working as a content writer and even enrolled in an SEO course to upskill. Since then, I’ve worked with various clients across different industries and written hundreds of articles, many of which ranked on the first page of SERP.

I also had the opportunity to work as a true crime scriptwriter for a YouTube channel, and most of the videos using my scripts ended up with the highest views. That was such a fun and rewarding experience!

Right now, I’m working as a part-time Project Manager for a wonderful client. I started as her content brief creator, then became her content writer, and eventually, she brought me on as her Project Manager and Team Lead in May 2024. It’s been an amazing journey of growth.

If there’s one thing I can confidently say about myself, it’s that I’m adaptable. I pick up new skills quickly and thrive in different roles. My diverse experience proves that I can take on anything, but I also believe in continuous learning. I’ll always be a work in progress, and I love that about myself.
