First, I worked as a policy holder specialist with MetLife for Auto and Home insurance (in all states except MA) for 2 years and I have all the access on the account of the customer like adding/deleting/changing of vehicle, sending ID cards, sending Proof of Insurance/Declaration page/UMBI form (for Florida) and all other required documents that the customer need to fill up. I also did some change od address, adding/deleting driver, so basically all of the stuffs that an insurance agent is doing is also my job even making a payment.
And for Home insurance, we are allowed to change coverage, adding SPP, change of replacement cost if ever there is an upgrade to the house, we are also allowed to talk to the underwriter if ever there is an issue with the customers policy. I'm sending documents as well to the mortgagee like billing statement for escrow account and declaration page.
And then after Metlife, I worked as a virtual assistant for coverdesk as a partime job for service and re-market team. I did some re-quoting for Combo policy (auto and home), Umbrella policy, Renters/Condo and Dwelling fire policy. We are using ezlynx as a main tool for doing remarket or new business policy. I also have an access to almost all of the national and local insurance provider like safeco,progressive,mercury,metlife,national general and other insurance provider
