Harvest Employee Benefits is a successful financial planning company based in, Sydney, Australia. Our office is in North Sydney. We have our own license and are not tied to any product provider. We have a 20-year history within the financial services sector, across personal financial planning, corporate superannuation and personal insurances. Our company’s primary role is to provide employer and employee superannuation advice to very well known, national and international corporate companies, we help our clients employees ‘sow, nourish and harvest their wealth’.

The ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented virtual Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of paraplanning experience and be proficient in using Xplan with Wealth Solver, Risk Researcher, and My Prosperity. Experience with insurance quotes and RG146 studies is highly desirable. The candidate must be analytical and capable of running financial computations and will also be responsible for running annual reviews for clients.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and implement financial plans and strategies.
Conduct research and analysis to support financial planners.
Generate and manage insurance quotes.
Maintain and update client records via Xplan.
Assist in the preparation of Statements of Advice (SOAs) for our corporate clients.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Collaborate with financial planners to deliver exceptional client service.
Prepare annual reviews for clients.
Completion of client research strategies via Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher.
Drafting Corporate Super Switch SOAs – 10 per week.
Drafting Insurance SOAs.
Modelling of basic to complex strategies following adviser meetings.
Liaising with advisers and administration manager to clarify and understand client strategies.
Drafting client annual reviews, fee disclosure, and opt-in.

About YOU:

2-3 years’ experience working in a similar position; this is a highly technical role where your product and analytical knowledge will be tested.
RG146 qualified.
Degree in financial planning is ideal.
Experience in producing SOAs/ROAs and modelling a variety of complex strategies – super, insurance, investments, and pension products.
Experience with insurance products.
Proficiency in Xplan with Wealth Solver, Risk Researcher, and My Prosperity.
Strong analytical skills and capability to run financial computations.
Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency with formulas.
High levels of accuracy, initiative, and a proactive work ethic.
Experience dealing with super funds such as Colonial FirstChoice Employer Super, IOOF Employer Super, Mercer Super, and MLC would be ideal.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Enthusiastic, confident, with drive and energy, and well-presented.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Able to work Monday to Friday, Australian hours of 9am to 5.30pm
