Full-Time Grant Writer (Creative Writers)

We’re a passionate maternal and child health organization on a mission to eliminate barriers to care for underserved communities. As our organization grows, we are urgently hiring a Full-Time Grant Writer to support our grant writing team during a high-volume season.

This is a remote, long-term role with room for growth — perfect for a female writer who is a strong researcher, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference.

? Who We’re Looking For:
We currently have one experienced Grant Writer on staff and are seeking a full-time writer to support her during this peak season. You'll be trained directly by our current writer (based in the Philippines) and will collaborate closely with the rest of our team.

???? Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and polish grant proposals, LOIs, concept notes, and reports

Conduct in-depth research on funders, opportunities, and relevant statistics

Follow strict funder guidelines and organization-specific templates

Assist with grant management tasks, including tracking deadlines, reporting, and documentation

Create professional presentations and basic design materials (using Canva or similar tools)

Occasionally assist with administrative tasks (ideal if you have a virtual assistant background)

Support with social media content or communications, when needed

???? Ideal Candidate Has:
Strong professional writing skills (grant writing or creative writing background welcome)

Excellent research and organizational skills

Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Grammarly, Google Drive, Canva, and task trackers (e.g., Asana, Trello)

A proactive, fast learner who takes initiative

Strong ability to accept and implement feedback

Comfort working Eastern Standard Time (EST) and starting early/staying late occasionally

A positive, team-oriented attitude

Bonus: Experience in social media management, graphic design, or virtual assistance
