Position Overview
The CHRO will work hand in hand with the Managing Director, Managers, and Director of Strategic Operations to ensure alignment between people strategies and organizational goals, enabling scalable growth and operational excellence. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive remote work culture, scaling HR processes, and attracting and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s goals and vision.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives across the organization.
- Anticipate and plan for HR-related needs as the company scales.
Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Design and implement innovative strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent in the finance and accounting industry.
- Develop employer branding strategies to position the company as a top remote workplace.
- Oversee performance management, ensuring clear career progression and development opportunities for all employees.
Culture and Employee Engagement
- Champion a thriving remote work culture, fostering collaboration, engagement, and team alignment.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
- Lead initiatives to build trust and communication within a distributed team.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Oversee the creation and management of scalable HR policies, processes, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with global labor laws and regulations.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll programs to ensure market competitiveness.
Leadership Development and Training
- Design and implement leadership training programs to build a strong pipeline of internal leaders.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
Proven experience (15+ years) in human resources leadership, preferably in a remote or startup environment.
Strong understanding of global HR practices, compliance, and regulations.
Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions in a high-growth environment.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
