Journalist-Writer

As a journalist, I have produced long-form feature stories, often on topics concerning the environment. Writing long-form content requires the masterful juggling of information, presented in a format that piques curiosity and holds attention. My work as a feature writer has appeared in an agricultural magazine as well as on the website of an environmental NGO.

I’ve written for two Philipine-based media outlets, Rappler and Manila Bulletin, contributing as a local stringer for the former and as an agri-environmental feature writer for the other. I’ve also written for a Washington-based community news site called The JOLT News where I write news about the South Puget Sound area.

I have worked with 26 clients across my stint as a freelancer event photographer and videographer. I often worked as a one-man team - a photographer, videographer, and editor, all in one.

I have had short-term assignments creating video content for the Tiktok account of a media outlet. My videos have accrued 60,000 views in a campaign spanning 18 short-form videos.
