I’ve been working as a Front Desk Officer in Records Management Division of a government sector for two (2) years now since I graduated in college. I was hired as a contract of service that will serve as one of the frontline officer to facilitate and process all our client’s request of records. In additional, I was also chosen to back up and assist in the collection of payment and reports of the housing project in our
- Processing and encoding incoming documents through our
Document tracking System;
- Drafting communications such as Memorandum, Special Order, Letter, et al.;
- Assisting of clients following our citizen’s charter (minimum of 5 mins. per client depending on the weight of their request);
- Processing outgoing documents through the records management information system;
- Answering follow-up request through phone and personal;
Additional work as a back up to a housing project for our department’s employees.
- Sending notices to employees with delinquent accounts;
- Computation of arrears and payments through MS Excel;
- Drafting of communications such as Memorandum, Requests, Contract to Sell, Special Order et. al;
- Encoding of payments to our database;
- Consolidation of reports with regards to illegal occupant in the sites; and
- Submit accomplishment reports every two (2) weeks.
I’ve been serving the public for five (5) years and I know that my accomplishments are nothing compare to others but rest assured that I’m doing my best to learn skills that would help me do my job easier and faster. Learning from experiences are the best. Working here is another experience that I would definitely be proud of.
