YouTube Video Editor Wanted – Join Our Creative Team!

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate YouTube Video Editor to join our dynamic team! If you have a flair for storytelling, editing, and creating engaging videos, then we want to hear from you. You’ll be responsible for editing high-quality talking-head videos, making quick cuts, and adding motion graphics to enhance the overall viewer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form talking head videos, utilizing quick cuts to maintain engagement and clarity.
• Incorporate motion graphics and text overlays to emphasize key points and enhance storytelling.
• Deliver polished videos that meet high-quality standards and align with our brand’s tone.
• Maintain consistent video style across all content.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in video editing (preferably for YouTube content).
• Strong proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and story structure.

Soft Skills:

• Creative problem-solver who can bring new ideas to the table.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours, but deadlines must be met. 48 hour turnaround time from when you get raw footage.
• You’ll be required to edit videos on a per-project basis, with new video projects provided regularly.

Compensation:

• $50 per long-form video (7-15 minutes).
• If your work is outstanding, you may be offered additional short-form video editing projects at $20 per video (under 1 minute shorts).
• Potential for more videos and growth in the role if the quality of work exceeds expectations.
