Xactimate Level 2 or greater estimator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator with certification in Xactimate to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed estimates for disaster reconstruction projects, working closely with project managers, mitigation partners, insurance adjusters, and clients to ensure that all estimates reflect the true scope of work required.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for reconstruction projects using Xactimate software.
Review scopes of work and gather all necessary information from inspections, photos, and documentation to ensure comprehensive estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and mitigation partners to verify work scope and cost breakdowns.
Work directly with insurance adjusters and homeowners to explain and justify estimate details.
Ensure all estimates comply with company guidelines, insurance carrier standards, and local building codes.
Review, revise, and finalize estimates with stakeholders as necessary to ensure accuracy and profitability.
Assist in reviewing project timelines and budgets to ensure consistency with estimates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and relevant legislation affecting the reconstruction industry.
