Job Title: Wordpress Developer
Location: New York, USA / Remote
Job Type: Part-time, US Work Day (9am – 5pm Eastern or similar)
Salary: $5-$10 dollars / hour

Job Overview: We are seeking a Wordpress developer to handle customer support tickets and also new site creation. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and client success. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail oriented and empathetic towards the end goals of the client.

Responsibilities:
WP Support:
Follow company SOP to complete support tix for client requests
Perform monthly upgrades of WP core, plugins, etc
Some server troubleshooting as it relates to WP
Optimize sites for speed, and remove unused / unnecessary plugins
Coordinate with marketers to improve site to meet goals

WP Site Dev (and possibly design):
Ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, but not mandatory
Build sites with as little hard-coding as possible (Elementor, Enfold, WPBakery, etc). We prefer our clients to have the ability to edit them easily as-needed.
Potentially build or upgrade custom plugins for clients

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum three years of experience as a full-stack WP Developer or in a similar role. Looking for experience in optimizing sites for speed and SEO performance.
Preferably experience in plugin development and maintenance
