Window and Door Estimator – V6 SoftTech & Alspec Systems Specialist

Role Overview
As an Estimator at Airla, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for windows, doors, and façade automation systems. You will work closely with project managers, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate window and door estimates using V6 SoftTech, ensuring compliance with AS2047, AS1288, and other relevant Australian Standards.
Work with Alspec systems to generate material take-offs, pricing, and technical documentation.
Review architectural drawings, window schedules, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Liaise with window fabricators, contractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure accurate cost estimates.
Assist in project planning, including identifying lead times, material availability, and fabrication considerations.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine pricing databases, estimation templates, and efficiency in take-offs.
Ensure all estimates are aligned with contractor requirements and project budgets.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience in Australia, working directly for a window fabricator and/or contractor.
Proficiency in V6 SoftTech is essential.
Strong understanding of Alspec systems, including material specifications, fabrication processes, and installation requirements.
Experience working with commercial and residential window and door systems, including automated solutions.
Strong knowledge of Australian compliance standards (AS2047, AS1288, AS4284).
Ability to interpret and analyse architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders and quotes simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to liaise with fabricators, suppliers, and project teams.
