Website Designer & Developer

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Website Designer & Developer to build and manage professional, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites. This role focuses on creating and maintaining websites for our insurance agency and e-commerce side projects. If you have experience with platforms like Squarespace and Shopify, a keen eye for design, and a track record of delivering high-quality results efficiently, we’d love to work with you!

Responsibilities:

Website Creation & Maintenance: Design, develop, and manage websites on platforms like Squarespace and Shopify, ensuring functionality, visual appeal, and optimal user experience.
Content Integration: Use provided content to design and implement pages that align with the business’s branding and goals.
Graphic Design Support: Create and integrate graphics using tools like Canva or similar software as needed.
SEO & Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are optimized for search engines and perform efficiently across all devices.
E-commerce Setup: Assist with setting up and managing Shopify stores, including product listings, layouts, and configurations.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the owner to align on project goals and priorities.

Requirements:

Website Platform Expertise: Proven experience building and maintaining websites on Squarespace and Shopify.
Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and aesthetics.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS and website optimization techniques.
Dependability: Self-directed with the ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
Communication Skills: Comfortable incorporating feedback and aligning work with project visions.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing past website projects that demonstrate your skills.
