Web Developer & Server Manager

The art platform Upgrade to see actual info is about to launch, and we are seeking a highly responsive, detail-oriented web developer to serve as our main web developer and server manager. Upgrade to see actual info is an innovative ai-friendly platform where artists transform digital files into physical prints.

The platform contains a custom dynamic leveling system for artists, and have planned to expand its gamification features.

To best serve our users, this role demands a proactive individual who can resolve issues quickly, consistently offer innovative improvements, and work independently to maintain and grow our digital infrastructure.

Reporting Structure:
- This position reports directly to the CEO, primarily through Upgrade to see actual info.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete website lifecycle including development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage server operations and ensure robust website security.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs.
- Manage and develop Stripe integrations for secure payment processing.
- Continuously analyze performance metrics and propose actionable improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, particularly in AI and digital art.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and database management on DigitalOcean.
- Deep understanding of website security best practices.
- Proven experience with REST API development and integrations.
- Experience with Stripe or similar payment gateways.
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues rapidly.
