Web Developer (Project Basis and Part time)

Alicia’s House is a fast-growing start-up dedicated to providing quality housing solutions for Australians living with disabilities. We are seeking an experienced and creative virtual assistant to design and build an engaging, informative website that supports our goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Website Redevelopment
Redesign and develop a responsive, user-friendly website tailored to your business goals.
Optimize the website for performance, speed, and SEO and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

2. Front-End Development
Design and implement visually appealing and functional user interfaces using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

3. Back-End Development
Develop or update server-side functionality. Set up and maintain servers, databases, and application logic.

4. Content Management System (CMS) Integration
Build or customize the website on CMS platforms like WordPress and enable easy content updates through intuitive CMS features.

5. Website Functionality
Create or update inquiry/contact forms. Test and debug to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.

6. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, structured data, and image optimization.

7. Security and Compliance
Implement secure protocols like HTTPS, and ensure the site adheres to data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Protect against vulnerabilities like cross-site scripting (XSS) and SQL injection.

8. Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and implement project requirements.

9. Documentation and Handover
Document the website structure, code, and features for future reference and training.
