Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling page designs, wireframes, and ensuring mobile responsiveness for our websites. You should be experienced in conducting competitive research, utilizing Figma for design creation, and formatting designs for seamless mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

Conduct competitive research to inform design decisions and ensure our websites stand out.
Create page designs and wireframes in your own Figma account.
Share design prototypes and wireframes for review and collaboration.
Ensure designs are optimized for mobile responsiveness and display across different screen sizes.
Create clean and intuitive layouts that align with branding and user experience goals.
Implement mobile-first design principles and optimize designs for mobile formatting.
Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure smooth transition from design to implementation.
Revise and update designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile designs.
Proficiency in design tools, specifically Figma (must have your own Figma account).
Knowledge of web design trends, best practices, and responsive design.
Ability to conduct competitive research and incorporate findings into design decisions.
Strong understanding of mobile responsiveness and optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing for a variety of industries and website types.
Familiarity with design systems and wireframing tools.
Previous experience working with development teams to implement designs.
