Position Summary:
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and setting ticket prices to ensure they are competitive, accurate, and aligned with market trends. Working under the guidance of the Pricing Team Lead, you will support overall pricing processes by conducting market research, analyzing ticket value, and collaborating with the broader team to maximize profitability. You will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed—no previous ticketing experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Management and Market Analysis
-Monitor ticket markets and adjust pricing based on market conditions, event dates, and competitor activity.
-Ensure the accurate and timely pricing of tickets, particularly for near-event inventory.
-Perform analyses to identify underpriced or overpriced tickets and make appropriate adjustments.
Collaboration and Task Management
-Work closely with the Pricing Team Lead to execute pricing strategies and complete assigned tasks.
-Collaborate with a cross-functional team.
-Actively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions through internal channels like Slack.
Operational Efficiency and Problem-Solving
-Follow pricing guidelines and utilize tools and software being used within the company.
-Identify and address discrepancies in ticket pricing to maintain data accuracy and profitability.
Continuous Learning and Development
-Participate in ongoing training to develop expertise in pricing tools and market strategies.
-Support and contribute to process improvements to enhance team performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
-Preferably has experience leading or mentoring a team - preferably.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and pricing data - previous experience in the related industry or work experience that require a high level of analytical skills is preferred.
-Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
