Virtual Medical Assistant (Medical Degree/Background Required)

*A medical degree is required. If you do not have one, you must have experience in Nursing, ICU, Critical care, or Wound care.*

We are looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant with a background and degree in healthcare to support an Infectious Disease Physician. This role involves handling patient communication, reviewing medical documents, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Email Management: Review patient emails, assess inquiries, and determine if referrals can be accepted
- Answer Basic Medical Queries: Respond to simple patient questions based on provided guidelines
- Medical Document Review: Read through clinic letters and summarize key points for patient action
- Patient Communication Support: Assist in drafting responses regarding treatment plans, follow-ups, and clarifications
- Administrative Support: Manage documentation, organize patient records, and coordinate with the physician as needed

Qualifications:
- A medical degree is preferred, but candidates with strong experience in nursing, ICU, critical care, or wound care will be considered
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Prior experience as a Medical VA is a plus
