JOB OVERVIEW

Company Overview:
-Small company (40 employees) leveraging G Suite.
-Seeking a skilled and creative contractor to support the Head of People Operations.
-Focus on building efficient, scalable systems and processes through HRIS and automation solutions.

Job Description:
-Seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Virtual HRIS & Automation Contractor.
-Key partner to the Head of People Operations.
-Combines virtual assistant responsibilities with HRIS, workflow automation, and training design.
-Expertise in Upgrade to see actual info, Slack, Zapier, Google Sheets automations, and API integrations.
-Creative approach to SOP creation and training development in Trainual.
-Remote, G Suite-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-HRIS & Automation:
-Design, implement, and manage automated workflows in Upgrade to see actual info, Slack, and Zapier.
-Streamline HR processes: performance management, onboarding, offboarding, and employee data tracking.
-Leverage API integrations to connect HR tools, G Suite, and other systems.
-Build and maintain automations in Google Sheets.
-Maintain and optimize HRIS tools.
-Troubleshoot and refine automation systems.

SOP Creation:
-Develop clear, concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes.
-Collaborate with the Head of HR to document workflows and best practices.

Training Design and Workflow:
-Create engaging and effective training materials using Trainual.
-Step-by-step guides, videos, and resources for employee onboarding and development.
-Creative flair to training content.

Virtual Assistant Support:
-Provide some administrative support to the Head of People Operations.
-Scheduling, task management, and follow-ups within G Suite.
-Handle ad-hoc projects and research.

Continuous Improvement:
-Proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR processes.
-Stay up-to-date on best practices in HRIS, automation tools, API integrations, and training design.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience with HRIS platforms and workflow automation (Upgrade to see actual info, Slack, and Zapier).
-Proficiency in Google Sheets automations and familiarity with G Suite.
-Experience with API integrations.
-Hands-on experience creating training content in Trainual or similar platforms.
-Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
-Creative problem-solving skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Familiarity with HR processes is a plus.
-Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
-Passion for leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Preferred Skills:
-Experience with Paylocity.
-Background in HR, project management, or related field.
-Additional experience with HR software or automation tools.
-Graphic design or multimedia skills.

Contract Details:
Type: Long-term independent contractor role.
Hours: Flexible, approximately 30-40 hours per week to start.
Location: Fully remote/virtual.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate; negotiable.
Duration: Ongoing, with a preference for a long-term partnership.
