Job Description:

We are seeking a Virtual Certified Medical Coder to join our team and manage coding, coding compliance, charge entry, and other related billing tasks for our U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all billing processes while working remotely and communicating with patients, providers, and insurance companies as needed.

Preferred Specialties:

Outpatient Professional Pain Management

Neurology

Surgery

Requirements:

CPC Coding Certification is Mandatory

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Billing for a U.S.-based company

Proficiency in using Athena One, AdvancedMD (preferred)

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (must be comfortable and confident speaking on the phone)

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in basic email and Excel tasks (sending emails, creating spreadsheets, etc.)

Must have a reliable at-home work setup:

Computer with up-to-date software and hardware (dual screens are a necessity)

High-speed internet connection

Headset for clear communication

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow strict guidelines regarding patient privacy and billing procedures

Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and patience
