About the Role
This dual role is integral to our business, blending strategic financial leadership with hands-on accounting expertise. We are looking for someone who can take a holistic approach to our financial operations, ensuring not only compliance but also driving growth through sound financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
*Strategic Financial Leadership
-Develop and execute financial strategies to support business goals.
-Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team for decision-making.
-Monitor and forecast financial trends, ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
*Accounting & Compliance
-Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
-Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
-Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
-Ensure compliance with tax laws and corporate regulations.
-Submitting and paying GST, PAYG and superannuation for the company.
-Annual tax planning and preparation for the CEO
*Risk Management & Optimization
-Identify financial risks and opportunities for cost savings.
-Implement financial controls and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
-Collaborate with other departments to support operational and strategic objectives.

About You
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with:
*A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
*Proven experience in a CFO, senior financial management, or accounting role.
*Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements within Australia.
*Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
*Proficiency in financial software (we currently use Quickbooks) and advanced Excel skills.
*A proactive, strategic mindset and excellent communication abilities.

This is a PART-TIME position to begin with - 4 hours per week at $10 per hour and completely flexible for the right candidate, particularly if you can grow in hours over the coming months as the company grows.
A paid probationary period of 30 days will be in effect.

There is a significant potential for growth within our company, allowing for increased earning opportunities based on performance.

Experience is essential. Hourly rates will increase over time with consistent success. We are seeking individuals who can grow alongside our company, benefitting mutually from our progress. Your willingness to learn further and an aptitude for technology will go a long way as well as any experience or interest in the beauty industry
