Job Overview:
The selected individual will be central to the smooth operation of our office and the effective management of our cases. This role demands someone with sharp logical reasoning skills, top-tier legal research capabilities, and a notable prowess in drafting and writing legal briefs. You will be delivering a range of legal services under the direct supervision of our seasoned attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Provide pivotal administrative support to ensure optimal office productivity.
Engage in professional communication with clients, witnesses, and fellow legal professionals.
Draft, write, and fine-tune legal briefs with meticulous attention to detail.
Precisely summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimonies.
Undertake in-depth legal research and produce case-relevant recommendations.
Efficiently type and file a range of legal documents and correspondence.
Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
Diligently maintain and refresh contact lists.
Keep track of legal deadlines and adeptly manage attorney calendars.
Collaborate closely with our attorneys to strategize case progression and achieve set milestones.
Requirements:
Successful completion of law school in the Philippines.
Demonstrated logical reasoning and analytical prowess.
Proven capabilities in legal research.
Proficiency in both speaking and writing English.
Advanced computer skills.
Familiarity with case management software (CRM).
Adeptness at multitasking and effective time management, especially under pressure.
Prior experience in writing legal briefs is a significant asset.
