About Everyday Heroes: Everyday Heroes is a YouTube channel centred around ordinary people doing extraordinary things. These narratives focus on kindness, resilience, and transformative moments, aiming to inspire and uplift audiences.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Virtual Assistant to join the Everyday Heroes team. This role involves editing voiceovers, proof-reading captions and uploading the finished videos to a shared Google Drive to ensure the content schedule runs smoothly. We are looking to create videos with this editing style, though the content itself is different: https://www.youtube.com/@BlackStruggles

This is a paid position, with compensation starting at $4-5 USD per video, looking to produce 15-20 videos per month. There is potential for additional responsibilities and increased pay if the channel continues to grow and succeed. Strong English skills are essential, as the position requires careful proofreading, precise communication, and effective task management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Voiceover Editing:
• Use the platform ElevenLabs to edit voiceovers for videos.
• Ensure the voiceover mimics natural speech as closely as possible.
• Assign unique voices to major characters for greater narrative distinction.
• Login and instructions will be provided, but prior experience or familiarity with ElevenLabs (e.g. YT tutorials) is valuable.

2. Caption Editing:
• Use CapCut to create and edit captions for videos.
• Upload the voiceover and visuals to CapCut and utilize the "Auto Captions" feature.
• Manually check captions to ensure they:
- Match the script exactly.
- Correct punctuation, capitalization, and spelling errors.
- Enhance readability with appropriate line breaks and text positioning.
- Ensure accuracy of timing and placement.
• Additional Tips: Leverage CapCut’s timeline tools to adjust caption lengths precisely, and use the preview feature to verify alignment with the voiceover.

3. Video Uploads and Scheduling:
• Upload completed videos to designated Google Drive folder according to the content calendar.
• Access permissions, login credentials, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails will be provided via a shared Google Drive.

4. Communication and Task Tracking:
• Collaborate with the team via Discord for updates, questions, and feedback.
• Track video production progress in Notion, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Participate in periodic check-ins to review workflow and address any challenges.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) for proofreading, communication, and task management.
• Technical requirements: Reliable laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection.
• Proactive and organized: Capable of solving problems, managing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy across captions, uploads, and metadata.
• Experience with relevant tools: Familiarity with platforms like YouTube, ElevenLabs, CapCut, and Google Drive.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new workflows or tools as the channel evolves.
