Virtual Assistant for Website & Ecommerce Setup (Wix & Etsy)

ABOUT ME:
I am a freelance artist, muralist, and designer, passionate about elevating culture and community through art and education. I am looking for support to help finish building out my website and e-commerce platforms on Wix and Etsy, integrating various POD products featuring my art, as well as personal products that I make at home.

I have already begun branding and design for the Wix site, but I need someone to help set up the shop, integrate POD products, create new product listings, optimize for SEO, and more. This gig is a test to find someone who can help launch the site and possibly assist with future work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and manage product listings on Etsy and Wix
- Integrate Print on Demand (POD) services like Printful, Printify, and Gelato into Wix and Etsy
- Organize and optimize the e-commerce sections of the Wix site
- Add new product listings and manage SEO for product pages
- Provide timeline and progress updates for project tasks
- Support with any administrative tasks related to the e-commerce setup

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Good writing skills
- Efficient, trustworthy, and timely
- Good listening and communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Self-initiating, yet easy to collaborate with

SKILLSET:
- Website Design using Wix Builder
- Integration of POD products into Wix Online Store and Etsy
- Experience with Product listings
- Strong experience in Ecommerce
- Experience with SEO and product page optimization
- Familiarity with Google Docs

BONUS SKILLS (optional):
- Cultural awareness (Understanding of Hip Hop, Urban, and Indigenous Cultures is a plus)
- Creative mindset
- Degree in a relevant field (optional)
- Strong writing skills
- Graphic Design experience

ABOUT THE GIG:

- This is a short-term gig to get the e-commerce platforms up and running.
- If the work goes well, this gig could lead to a part-time position for ongoing support in running multiple e-commerce businesses and helping with social media marketing and admin tasks. At that point, the number of hours per week and payment would be negotiable depending on experience and efficiency.
