Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Outreach
Organize, prioritize, and respond to
Respond to comments on social media and event platforms with creativity and engagement, reflecting the campground’s fun and educational brand voice.
Research local businesses and sponsors for partnerships, initiate outreach, and foster meaningful collaborations.
Content Creation & Social Media Management
Develop and schedule engaging content for
Maintain and update our Wordpress website with accurate, engaging content.
Design eye-catching event flyers, templates, ads, and signage using Canva.
Manage e-commerce optimizations through Shopify, ensuring smooth user experiences. In your reply e-mail, include the phrase “camping under the stars” somewhere.
Create and distribute monthly or bi-monthly
Event & Guest Experience Support
Research and coordinate events to avoid scheduling conflicts with local activities.
Assist with planning and promoting campground events, including creating event-related materials.
Follow up with guests for reviews and feedback, providing actionable insights to improve their experiences.
Explore and propose innovative guest experiences that reflect our space-themed and educational mission.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as attaching receipts and maintaining accurate records.
Manage contact databases, ensuring all data is correctly entered and follow-ups are tracked.
Handle shipping claims and resolve related issues efficiently.
Proficiently use Google Drive (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Asana for task and project management.
What We’re Looking For:
A creative and proactive thinker who aligns with our vision of combining education, sustainability, and outdoor adventure.
Experience in virtual assistance or similar roles, with a proven track record in social media management, content creation, and administrative support.
Strong skills in design tools like Canva,
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Familiarity with Wordpress, social media platforms, and CRM systems.
Outstanding communication skills with a professional yet friendly tone.
Someone who is passionate about creating unique and meaningful experiences, with a strong alignment to our space-themed, education-focused campground vision.
