Video and Thumbnail Editor

Hello there!

We are looking for a long-term Video & Thumbnail Editor to join us and help bring our FACELESS YouTube videos to life. Candidates with experience in editing for faceless channels are PREFERRED.

This role focuses on editing straightforward, engaging videos on various Pop Culture/ Travel topics. The voiceovers and scripts are already made; your main task will be sourcing the right clips and images to match them seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit videos to enhance viewer engagement by adding elements such as text, sounds, transitions, infographics, and stock footage.
2. Create compelling YouTube thumbnails that attract CLICKS.
3. Work independently to edit high-quality video and create its thumbnail.
4. Ensure minimal input is needed by understanding video themes and delivering a polished final product.
5. You must be aware of YouTube's Copyright Guidelines.

We’re looking for someone who:
1. Has experience editing Faceless YouTube videos and creating eye-catching thumbnails that perform well. You don’t need to be a pro—what matters most is the quality of your sample work, and we’ll review that to see if it’s a good fit!
2. Can research stock photos, videos, and footage we can use.
3. Can consistently deliver engaging content with minimal guidance. Must be up to date with viral trends!
4. Is organized and efficient, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
5. Ensure all clips, photos, and other materials used in the videos comply with YouTube's copyright policies.

Here's a little preview of what to expect:
1. The channel is faceless.
2. We aim for you to complete 1-2 videos and their thumbnails per shift, though we're flexible and open to adjustments based on the video's complexity.
3. Typically, a video lasts for about 8-12 minutes.
