Job Title: Video-Podcast Editor for Podcasts for Podigy

Hey, my name is Justin. I'm an accomplished songwriter and producer with nearly 150 million streams on my songs. I make social media music content that has over a billion views.

Additionally, I am a professional sound engineer with expertise in podcast editing at an industry-leading standard. And, I own Podigy Podcasts, one of the leading video-podcast agencies in the world. My wife is head of operations, and we have over 15 contractors and employees who are part of our team.

We’re looking for someone with an impeccable attention to detail, a great sense of teamwork and communication, and someone with quantifiable talent for editing video podcasts episodes for YouTube and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities:
Learn Podigy’s method for producing gold-standard audio and editing high quality YouTube podcast episodes.
Implement notes from clients when editing content
Use Monday.com to manage all of your deadlines
You will get points each time you hit a deadline that will result in bonus money each month!
Be active in the team Slack channels and communicate daily with the team
Avoid mistakes as much as possible, and fix mistakes within 24 hours if & when they are made

Requirements (You Must…)
-Have in-depth knowledge of:
-EQ & Compression
-Noise Cancelation & Gates
-Repairing Damaged Audio
-Inserting External Files (Intros/Outros)
-Removing filler words & dead space
-Cutting Video + Audio Simultaneously
-Syncing Audio + Video
-Loudness Levels
-Fading
-Exporting Files and Uploading Files
-Have basic knowledge of Google Drive, Slack, and Monday.com.
-Be able to reply to messages in under 12 hours.
-Be self-motivated and energetic.
-Be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
-Be willing to be part of a growing and expanding company.
-Available to work on weekends (rare, but occasionally necessary)
-Available to work full-time

Screening Process:
Qualified candidates will receive a video podcast episode to edit as a trial.
