We are currently looking for a talented and experienced video editor to help us bring our podcast to life in a visually captivating way and help us grow our audience across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Create the Initial Podcast Intro

Edit a dynamic and engaging intro for the podcast that captures the essence of our brand and the high-quality conversations we share.
The intro should be visually compelling and aligned with the podcast’s tone, similar to the example provided here: (Check Jay Shetty Podcast on YouTube)
Create Episode Teasers

Develop engaging teaser videos for each episode to be shared on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
These should be short (30-60 seconds), with dynamic edits, captions, and engaging visuals to grab attention and build excitement for the full episode.
Edit Full Podcast Episodes for YouTube

Edit each episode to create a polished video for YouTube, ensuring high-quality audio and visual experience. This includes trimming unnecessary content, adding visual elements (e.g., lower thirds, captions, transitions), and maintaining the flow of the conversation.
Ensure the video content aligns with the tone and professionalism of the podcast and brand.
Collaborate and Communicate

Work directly with Alex and the team to understand the podcast’s vision, guest profiles, and specific episode goals.
Provide regular updates on the editing process, incorporate feedback, and ensure timely delivery of the edited content.
Adaptation for Instagram Reels/Stories

Create engaging Instagram Reels and Stories, using clips from the podcast episodes, keeping in mind the editing style of creators like Tom Noske.(Instagram)
Ensure all content fits within the platform’s best practices, both in terms of visuals and engagement strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience editing podcasts or videos, particularly for YouTube and social media platforms.
Strong Video Editing Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. Ability to add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and other elements that elevate the content.
Audio Editing: Proficiency in editing audio for clarity and quality, ensuring the podcast sounds crisp and professional.
Creative and Visual Storytelling: Ability to take raw footage and turn it into a cohesive, engaging story that aligns with our podcast’s tone.
Experience with Riverside.fm: Familiarity with Riverside.fm for remote recording and file handling is a strong plus.
Attention to Detail: Ability to create polished videos with excellent attention to detail, including visual consistency and audio syncing.
Strong Communication Skills: Clear communication, meeting deadlines, and being open to feedback.
Social Media Savvy: Understanding of Instagram and other social media platforms' best practices for video content, particularly for short-form content like reels, teasers, and stories.
Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
Ability to create motion graphics or basic animation to enhance podcast visuals.
Experience creating content for corporate brands, podcasts, or thought leadership-driven initiatives.
Familiarity with YouTube optimization and SEO best practices for podcast content.
