Who Am I and Why Work for Me?

Hi there, I am Bon a Vtuber / twitch streamer from Australia and I'm looking to hire a video editor who can edit my content which can vary from stream highlights, tutorials, and lifestyle content so an editor with a flexible editing style is preferred.

If you get selected for the role you will have the opportunity to expand your portfolio well into other niches (such as vtubers, lifestyle content creators, small business owners, UGC creators, and twitch / gaming creators) since I have a very diverse content pillar.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Employment Type:
• freelance / per project with opportunities to become a full-time employee after 6-12 months

Hourly Salary:
• negotiable - base on your skill level
• your performance and pay will be re-assessed yearly


Qualifications & Requirements,
• an extensive portfolio of previous works (preferably with clients reviews, references, and/or social media metrics)
• can converse in and understand English well
• already has license to an editing software like adobe premiere pro, capcut, davinci resolve, final cut pro, etc.
• has used frame.io or something similar
• has a basic understanding of branding / content pillars (or willing to study on your own time)


Scope of Work:
• make engaging videos and follow brand guidelines
• 1-3 long form videos per week (roughly 5-20mins each)
• add closed captions
• create scroll stopping shorts
• thumbnail creation is desirable but not required
• knows how to accept constructive criticism
• be able to complete a project at a reasonable timeframe

long form videos topics: lifestyle vlog, gaming highlights, and tutorials


Required Hours:
• this will be vary per project so please keep this in mind before applying but usually around 10-40hrs per week


Required Availability:
• there will be a 1:1 meeting once a week other than that, you may work whenever you please as long as you meet your targets
