Video Editor / YouTube Optimization Specialist

About the Role
Are you a creative and detail-oriented video editor passionate about creating impactful content? Join our team and help Dr. Melissa J. Williams grow her YouTube channel and coaching business by producing engaging, professional-quality videos that resonate with her audience. This role goes beyond editing—you’ll be optimizing videos to attract viewers, retain audiences, and turn subscribers into clients.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:

Edit YouTube videos, adding professional intros, transitions, captions, graphics, and other creative elements to enhance viewer engagement.
Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Maintain brand consistency in all video content, ensuring alignment with Dr. Melissa J. Williams' messaging and style.
YouTube Optimization:

Research trending topics, keywords, and SEO strategies to improve video rankings and visibility.
Create compelling thumbnails, video titles, and descriptions that drive clicks and views.
Analyze YouTube analytics to identify areas for improvement in content strategy.
Collaboration:

Work closely with Dr. Williams and other team members, including the funnel builder and social media manager, to align video content with overall marketing and coaching goals.
Meet deadlines and communicate effectively to ensure a smooth workflow.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years in video editing with a strong portfolio of YouTube or social media projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Experience with Canva or Photoshop for thumbnails is a plus.
YouTube Expertise: Familiarity with YouTube Studio, SEO best practices, and video analytics.
Creative Eye: Strong storytelling and design skills to create visually engaging and impactful videos.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Experience
Editing content for personal brands, motivational speakers, or coaching businesses.
Knowledge of audience retention strategies and YouTube growth tactics.
Experience working with remote teams.
