About The Role:
As a Video Editor, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling visual content for Primal Video across various platforms. Your responsibilities may include:
*Editing high-quality videos for YouTube, digital programs, and other content platforms
*Maintaining brand consistency in visual style, pacing, and messaging
*Implementing best practices for engagement, retention, and audience growth
*Optimizing and repurposing content for different platforms
*Collaborating with the team to brainstorm ideas and improve processes
*Managing and organizing media assets for streamlined production workflows

What We're Looking For:
*Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve - if not, experience with either Premier Pro or FCP but willing to learn DaVinci Resolve (we will provide a DaVinci Resolve license).
*Exceptional attention to detail. To show that you’ve got it, start your application form with the word ‘Howdy’.
*Strong ability to craft engaging and visually cohesive content
*Fluency in written and spoken English
*Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
*Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
*Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools and workflows
*A genuine enthusiasm for video content and YouTube culture
*Bonus points for Motion Graphics experience too (Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion)

As this is a remote position where we will be transferring large files back and forth, fast & reliable internet is a must.
