We're an established EDM artist project seeking a long-term video editor to join our growing team. We offer stable, ongoing work with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.

Role Overview
- Create engaging short-form content (15-60 seconds) for social media
- Transform raw footage into high-performing content
- Contribute creative ideas for fresh and innovative video concepts
- Work independently while maintaining regular communication
- Expected workload: 20-30 hours per week

Reference Content & Style Guide

Here are the styles we're looking for:

1. Laid-back, music-focused content (Pluko reference)
- Focus on showcasing the music in a natural way
- Clean, simple presentation that lets the music shine

2. High-energy dynamic shots (Jkyl & Hyde reference)
- Creative camera work and energetic presentation
- Note: While we love the advanced camera work, not every video needs this level of complexity

3. Engaging visual elements (Nikita The Wicked reference)
- Strategic zoom effects and text overlays to maintain viewer attention
- Dynamic editing that keeps viewers engaged through the whole video

4. Creative media mixing (Repiett reference)
- Blending natural footage with stock photos for unique visuals
- Creative but not overwhelming - this style works well for specific types of content

5. Natural feel with animations (Darby reference)
- Balanced mix of natural shots with animated elements and lighting effects
- Clean, professional look while maintaining authenticity

6. Intentionally raw aesthetic (Veil on me reference)
- Sharp cuts and natural feel with creative implementation
- Strategic use of "imperfect" editing for style

Note: These references are to inspire creativity. You're encouraged to use them as inspiration while developing your own style and ideas. Not every style will work with every piece of footage, but they showcase the range of creativity we're looking for.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in creating viral short-form content
- Expert knowledge of Instagram Reels and TikTok formats, trends, and best practices
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
- Excellent understanding of what makes content perform well on social platforms
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of optimal export settings for different platforms

Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with EDM/music industry content
- Knowledge of current EDM culture and trends
- Previous work with artists or music-related content

Work Structure & Expectations
- Flexible, asynchronous work schedule
- Must be available for occasional creative discussions between 6:30-9:00 PM EST (advance notice will be provided)
- Initial workload: 2-3 videos per week (subject to change)
- 24-hour turnaround time for video delivery
- Videos must be delivered by 11:00 AM EST on posting day
- Detailed SOPs and guidelines will be provided for all processes

Compensation & Payment
- Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level (to be discussed during interview)
- Payment methods: PayPal, Zelle, Wise, or Venmo
- Performance bonuses for high-performing content (based on views, engagement, and shares)
- 13th month pay for long-term team members
- Bi-weekly payment schedule available

2. Trial Task

- Create one engaging short-form video (15-60 seconds)
- Feel free to draw inspiration from the reference videos or create your own unique style
- Top 3 submissions will receive $15 each
- Submit your video with the subject line "EDM Video Editor - Trial Submission"

3. Final Interview
- Discussion of work style and availability
- Technical knowledge assessment
- Creative approach evaluation
