We’re shaking up the pet food industry, challenging outdated norms, and proving that convenient food can also be high-quality, complete, and balanced. But we can’t do it alone.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Video Editor to bring our brand to life through engaging, thumb-stopping video content that inspires action and spreads our mission. If you love storytelling, editing compelling content, and want to be part of a fast-growing movement that puts pet health first, we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Edit high-impact, short-form video content for social media, ads, and product campaigns (think Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
2. Collaborate with the founders to bring scripts, ideas, and stories to life through video.
3. Add text overlays, motion graphics, music, and transitions that elevate the message and boost performance.
4. Stay on top of trends, techniques, and platform-specific formats to keep content fresh and relevant.
5. Manage video assets efficiently and ensure fast turnaround times.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of short-form content.
2. Proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Figma.
3. Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual design.
4. Fast learner who can adapt to new tools; experience with Notion (for project management), and Gather (for virtual collaboration).
5. Passionate about Blue Zone’s mission to revolutionize pet health through real, nutritious food.

HOURS & COMPENSATION:
- Full-time freelance position, 40 hours per week.
- Competitive rate based on experience and qualifications. ($7 per hour)
