Video Editor

Hey I'm Ben, I run a digital marketing agency with a focus on engaging and professional video ads. I'm based out of Ottawa, Canada. I'm looking for a skilled full-time video editor with a primary focus on impactful short form content. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for selecting the best video clips and structuring them cohesively. You should have experience with motion graphics, effects, keyframing and color grading. Looking for someone who is keen on constantly learning, exploring and expanding their skills with the releases of new AI technologies.

Primary Tasks:
- Organizing footage by client
- Editing 30-60sec video ads
- Editing reels
- Adding music and subtitles
- Adding motion graphics
- Mixing & cleaning up audio

Requirements:
- English fluency
- Software proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects/Motion Graphics
- Own a powerful computer (preferably a Mac) & stable internet
- A minimum 1TB hard drive to work off of
- 2-3 years of experience with video editing
- Ability to learn quickly, implement feedback and work on tight deadlines
