SARAL was founded by Yash Chavan, who’s a non-technical solo-founder but he’s got proven experience in business and marketing, having scaled 4 SaaS companies from early-stages to $2-3M ARR each.
We have a talented team of young developers, but video editing hasn't been our strong suit. We need someone to step in and transform our video content!
We're looking for a skilled video editor who can **hit the ground running** and elevate our video content. You'll work closely with our passionate founder and talented team to create high-quality videos that resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality video content that helps us achieve our marketing and communication goals. You'll work closely with various departments to understand our needs and translate them into engaging and informative videos.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and video goals.
- Edit and assemble video footage to create compelling narratives and engaging visuals.
- Apply motion graphics, transitions, and other visual effects to enhance the storytelling.
- Ensure color correction, audio mixing, and overall video quality meet professional standards.
- Work closely with the team to adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest video editing software and trends.
Compensation:
- Trial Period: During your initial 30-day trial period, you will be compensated on a per long-format-video basis, with a rate ranging from $30 to $40 per deliverable.
- Project-Based Compensation (After Trial Period): Following a successful trial period, we offer a competitive project-based compensation rate of up to $50 per deliverable.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Experience creating motion long form and short-form, engaging video content for social media.
- Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality work.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with YouTube SEO and best practices.
- Knowledge of social media trends and content strategy.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
