JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative designer to develop a low-fidelity mockup for an innovative TODO application that integrates two key modes: Planning Mode and Execution Mode. The goal of this project is to visually capture the app’s concept, layout, and user interactions before we move forward with development. The ideal candidate will create a flexible, user-friendly design that incorporates keyboard navigation and a visually appealing, intuitive interface.

Responsibilities:

Design Mockups:
- Develop a low-fidelity interactive mockup that demonstrates the structure and functionality of both Planning Mode and Execution Mode.
- Focus on clear user flows, usability, and the ability to navigate tasks seamlessly.
- Highlight key features like recurrence setup, rewards, progress tracking, and task hierarchy management.

Core Features to Implement:

- Planning Mode:
1. Design sections for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly tasks.
2. Include a section for non-recurring tasks with customizable labels.
3. Implement intuitive configurations for recurring tasks with detailed recurrence settings.
4. Add functionality for infinitely nested sub-tasks, zooming in/out, and setting optional deadlines and rewards.
5. Incorporate progress bars for task completion and show breadcrumbs for navigation within the task hierarchy.
- Execution Mode:
1. Design an Overview Dashboard displaying tasks with progress indicators and rewards.
2. Create intuitive task management features such as adding tasks, marking them complete, and zooming in/out of tasks.
3. Emphasize keyboard navigation and visual hierarchy to differentiate modes.
4. Include smooth transitions between Planning and Execution Modes.

Design Requirements:

- Minimalistic & Modern UI with a clean, user-friendly layout.
- Use of colors and progress bars to represent task status and completion.
- Ensure all design elements are responsive and adaptable for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
- Implement interactive elements like hover states, collapsible sections, and zooming animations.

Deliverables:

- Wireframes for key screens:
1. Planning Mode: Task views (Timeframe, Quests).
2. Execution Mode: Dashboard, zoomed-in task views.
3. Demonstrate key user flows: adding tasks, zooming, switching modes, and navigating.
- Rationale for design decisions, including visual hierarchy, layout, and progress bar styles.
- It’s also required to be able to set some tasks as hidden in Planning Mode
- We also need a section for infinitely nested bullet points to serve as data storage (they won’t be “done”).

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing intuitive, user-friendly web and mobile interfaces.
- Strong proficiency in Framer or Figma.
- Knowledge of user experience best practices, especially for productivity applications.
- Ability to create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in crafting seamless user flows.
- Familiarity with designing for responsive layouts and keyboard-driven navigation.

Duration: This is a one-off project, so short-term. If I like your work, I have more projects for you.

How to Apply: Please record and share a short video saying hi and talking briefly about yourself. Portfolio is not required but would be nice.
