I’m looking for a reliable, experienced U.S. tax preparer to help file my 2024 U.S. personal and business taxes before April 15. This is an urgent, short-term need—but for the right person, it could turn into a long-term opportunity as a financial assistant supporting me across multiple small businesses.
If you’re confident handling tax filings and enjoy working with entrepreneurs, I’d love to hear from you. If you want to apply, change the subject line to “Hi there, Brennan!” To indicate you read this.
—
Initial Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file U.S. federal and state taxes (both personal and business) for 2024. My business is a single-member LLC, so it’s basically like a sole proprietorship.
- Work quickly and accurately to meet the April 15 filing deadline
- Review and organize financial documents (I currently have a bookkeeper catching up my records)
—
Potential Ongoing Work (Optional/Future):
- Bookkeeping for my two businesses (e-commerce + service-based)
- Financial planning and cash flow tracking
- Advising on structure and setup for better profitability
- Support across other financial tasks if you’re capable/interested
—
Requirements:
- Proven experience with U.S. tax preparation
- Ability to quote a flat rate for completing 2024 filings
- Availability to start immediately
- Knowledge of LLCs and small business tax treatment
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines
—
Nice to Have:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification
- Experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Wave, etc.)
- Interest in a long-term working relationship
- If you want to apply, change the subject line to “Hi there, Brennan!” To indicate you read this.

To Apply:
Please include the following:
1. A short introduction about your experience with U.S. taxes
2. A flat-rate quote for 2024 tax filing (personal + business)
3. Confirmation that you can complete the work before April 15
4. Any relevant certifications or past work examples
5. Let me know if you’re interested in ongoing part-time work after tax season
