JOB OVERVIEW

Position Title: UI/UX Graphic Designer
Job Type: Contractor
Probationary Period: 30 Days
Salary (probationary): $300/wk
Salary: $400/wk
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:
-Design 3 unique partial-homepage concepts per client according to our design standards and practices using Adobe XD.
-Implement design revisions and design a full home page and interior page to hand to our web dev team. Export all related files and deliver the raw document for dev team use.
-Ensure that all designs adhere to ADA requirements.
-Report to the Project Manager for assignments and priorities.
-Follow the Senior Designer’s instructions, feedback, and insight to maintain design quality standards.
-Assist with Logo Design projects as needed.
-Assist with Video ad design as needed.
-Assist with printed marketing materials as needed.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in UX/UI web design with a strong portfolio.
-Proficiency in Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. (Canva is a plus)
-Basic understanding of ADA compliance
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Bonus: WordPress or web development experience.
-Bonus: Video design & editing experience.

Probationary Period:
During the 30-day probationary period, you will be responsible for the following duties:
-Studying and familiarizing yourself with our design standards and practices. You will work with our project manager to understand common design practices and ensure you are able to design up to our professional standards.
-Autonomize unused design concepts & create a reference library: Remove all client branding (copy, logo, copy etc) from unused design concepts and compile them into a reference library.
-Create Design styles for clients. As you become proficient in our design standards, you may be assigned client-projects to design for.

During the 30-day probationary period, we’ll evaluate your ability to:
-Deliver designs aligned with our standards.
-Incorporate feedback efficiently.
-Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
