Travel Agent

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert travel consultation and advisory services to customers using the marketplace.
- Manage bookings for flights, hotels, tours, car rentals, and vacation packages within Europe.
- Customize travel itineraries based on client preferences, needs, and budget, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Act as the point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, modifications, and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated on the latest travel trends, promotions, and offers across Europe to provide informed advice to customers.
- Maintain excellent relationships with travel suppliers (airlines, tour operators, hotels, etc.) to ensure clients get the best deals and experiences.
- Assist clients in navigating the marketplace platform and provide support during the booking process.
- Ensure all travel arrangements comply with the marketplace’s policies and European travel regulations.
- Handle any travel-related issues (flight delays, cancellations, hotel problems) that arise during the client's journey.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a travel agent, with significant experience in booking European travel services.
- Proven ability to manage complex travel itineraries with strong attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of the European travel market, including airlines, destinations, hotels, car rentals, and tour operators.
- Proficient in using online booking systems, GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and other travel platforms.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving travel-related issues in real-time.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, contractor-based role.

Note: The contract may run from 8 months to 1 year, subject to further discussion and evaluation.
