We are currently seeking a skilled individual to develop a customized software solution to manage and track our loads, as well as build a professional website to enhance our digital presence and streamline our operations.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Web and Software Developer who can create a comprehensive software system tailored to our transportation needs and design a corresponding website. This role requires expertise in software development and web design, with a focus on logistics and transportation management solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop a custom software solution for load tracking, scheduling, and truck dispatching.
Create a web-based platform for users to view and update real-time statuses of our trucks and shipments.
Design and implement a load tracking system that includes assigning trucks, drivers, and routes.
Build a website for New Hope Trucking LLC that highlights our services, company information, and contact details.
Integrate the software solution with GPS tracking, route optimization, and driver management tools.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the software and website.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in developing logistics and transportation management software.
Strong knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Python, Java, or PHP).
Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data visualization tools.
Understanding of fleet management and dispatch operations.
Ability to integrate with GPS and telematics systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-based platforms and APIs.
Familiarity with logistics and transportation software such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
Knowledge of the semi-trucking industry and specific software requirements.
