Position Description
We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) freelance contractor to work with one of our clients. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be the primary driver of research, design, and execution for customer-facing changes, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work independently, proactively collaborate with marketing and web development teams, and bring data-driven design solutions to life. The ideal candidate should have experience in eCommerce, the ability to conduct user research, and expertise in creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and process flows.



About the work
Lead the research, design, and execution of customer-facing UI/UX improvements.
Work independently, driving initiatives while proactively seeking input from stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with marketing and web development teams to ensure successful implementation.
Conduct data analysis and user research to inform design decisions.
Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and process flows to optimize user journeys.
Present research findings and designs to a broad audience, gaining alignment and refining based on feedback.
Continuously iterate and optimize designs to enhance user experience and conversion rates.


Boxes to check
5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing customer-facing designs.
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and drive execution.
Strong experience in eCommerce UI/UX design, with a deep understanding of conversion optimization.
Expertise in user research, wireframing, user flows, and process flows.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive design decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design rationale.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and development teams.
Availability to work full-time during CST or PST hours for seamless collaboration.


About the role
Full-time position at $16/hr, working 40 hours per week
Night shifts (CST/PST) with fixed weekends off
