Technology Specialist

Looking for a “IT Generalist” or a “Technology Specialist”. This is a very broad job that might be someone’s dream job. You should already be very tech savvy and have the intuitive knowledge and skill set to be able to tackle any new software or hardware.

Linux (various distros)
cPanel/WHM/Other CPs
Dedicated/VPS Server Provisioning/Management
NAS
Remote Desktop/AnyDesk/TeamViewer
Encryption / Privacy
Cloud Storage
Backup Software / Best Practices
Android
Tech Research Skills

You should already be extremely tech savvy. If you are not, please do not apply. Coding isn’t required, but could be helpful with Linux related tasks. This could be a dream job because you will also be learning newer and more advanced skills on the job – tinkering with software, servers, hardware, etc. If you don’t have an extremely sound IT foundation, what should be intuitive will be difficult and this job will not be for you. You will be directly assisting someone who started with computers more than 30 years ago and has used everything from DOS to Linux.

Please be able to read/write/speak Basic English. Please have a stable high speed broadband Internet connection. This job will start out part time and could possibly move to full time.
