Technical Writer for US Energy Company

To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a talented Technical Writer with an electrical engineering background to join our team.

You'll help turn complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content in this role. You’ll work closely with our engineers and product teams to create everything from user manuals to technical specs, ensuring our documentation is accurate, accessible, and easy to understand.

A Day in the Life:
-Write and maintain all technical documents, from manuals and guides to detailed specs.
-Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information and ensure our documentation is spot-on.
-Use basic editing tools to polish and format documents, making them clear and consistent.
-Lean on your electrical engineering background to translate technical details into content that anyone can understand.
-Keep the end-user in mind, ensuring our documentation meets their needs and is easy to follow.

What We’re Looking For:
You have proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in the energy or engineering sectors.
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You understand electrical engineering concepts and can communicate them.
You’re comfortable using basic editing tools and have an eye for detail.
You’re an excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally.
You think from the end-users perspective, making sure our docs are user-friendly and accessible.
