Intro:

We have an Amazon Private Label business that develops & sells high-quality products to consumers on the Amazon platform. Our business is involved in the complete value chain of creating a successful product on Amazon, from the initial product research to the product design, sourcing, producing, shipping, launching, and ongoing management of a portfolio of products.

About the Job:

We’re looking for an expert-level Supply Chain Manager to maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline logistics, ensure product quality & compliance, and optimize the cost of goods thereby enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the company's profitability. As our Supply Chain Manager, you will work with our internal team and external contractors & vendors and be responsible for the following tasks:

---Sourcing: Accountable for identifying, vetting, and procuring initial samples with suppliers and vendors. This includes
inspecting for quality, sourcing the best specs at the best possible costs, and sourcing for product features that will add value to the marketplace.

---Procurement: Put in new production orders and reorders and ensure that the production process with manufacturers is efficient, timely, and meets the quality standards set by the company. This includes minimizing production lead times.

---Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory levels across various storage locations, including Amazon FBA warehouses, 3rd Party Logistic Warehouses, Supplier Factories, and any In-Transit Inventory. Ensure that stock levels are maintained to maximize sales while minimizing storage costs and stockouts.

---Logistics Coordination: Manage the logistics process, from the point of origin to Amazon’s FBA warehouses, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This includes selecting and managing relationships with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and any other logistical partners.

---Streamline Logistics: Achieving a supply chain at the most economical cost possible by optimizing logistics to minimize freight, truck shipping, storage, and prep & pack costs. This also means negotiating favorable rates at every part of the supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries, minimizing shipment delays, and reducing damages or losses during transit.

---Supplier Relations and Contract Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts that offer favorable terms for quality, pricing, and delivery. Regularly review performance metrics and hold suppliers accountable.

---Risk Management: Continually assess potential risks in the supply chain, from supplier issues to logistical disruptions, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.

---Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Regularly review supply chain costs and identify opportunities for savings or efficiency gains. Manage the supply chain budget to ensure alignment with the company’s financial objectives.

---Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Requirements:
You must satisfy all of the following requirements to be considered for this job:

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or Business
--Minimum of 3–5 years of proven work experience in either supply chain management, logistics, operations, e-commerce, or high-level corporate work
--Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and solve complex problems
--Excellent Excel or Google Sheet skills for data analysis and reporting
--Speak, Write, and Listen in English clearly
--Management, Client, or Vendor relationship experience
--Be able to work anywhere between 12:00pm-12:00am CDT (give or take 1-2hrs)
--Working webcam and clear audio for virtual meetings
--Willing to attend virtual meetings at time designated by the company
--Able to commit full-time with no outside commitments whatsoever
