We are seeking a Supply Chain and Demand Planning Specialist to oversee logistics, inventory forecasting, supplier coordination, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical abilities, hands-on experience in supply chain operations, and a proven track record of managing inventory across multiple locations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
*Logistics & Freight Coordination: Manage shipments, negotiate freight rates, handle customs documentation, and oversee deliveries from Amazon Warehousing Distribution to FBA.
*Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels across Amazon FBA and 3PL warehouses in the UK and Poland. Optimize order quantities based on forecasts and prevent stockouts or overstock.
*Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales trends and inventory turnover to propose accurate order projections. Utilize forecasting tools to anticipate supply needs.
*Supplier & 3PL Management: Communicate with Chinese suppliers for production updates, FBA labeling, and shipping coordination. Supervise 3PL operations to ensure timely deliveries and accurate stock levels.
*Amazon Operations: Track Amazon storage capacity, prevent aged inventory issues, and ensure FBA compliance. Manage shipments and inventory flow to align with Amazon's policies.
*Data & Reporting: Generate reports on sales performance, inventory movement, and landed cost of goods sold. Utilize tools like Google Sheets and SoStocked to track key supply chain metrics.
*Process Optimization & Team Coordination: Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements. Provide weekly updates via Slack, lead supply chain meetings, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
*Experience: 3-5 years in supply chain, logistics, demand planning with a focus on Amazon/e-commerce.
*Skills: Proficient in Amazon Seller Central, Amazon FBA inventory management, ERP systems, Google sheets, and Excel for data reporting
*Education: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
*Must be familiar with forecasting tools like SoStocked, Netsuite, or similar
*Strong experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, managing logistics across multiple warehouse locations, overseeing 3PL operations
