Supply Chain Cost Analyst for an Ecommerce brand ( Women's Fashion )

Job Overview:
This role is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and reducing our current COGS by researching suppliers, negotiating better pricing, and exploring alternative sourcing strategies. The goal is to lower product costs without compromising quality, ensuring maximum profitability for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
? Lowering Current COGS
Assess our current suppliers on AliExpress to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Find alternative suppliers offering the same products at lower prices.
Explore bulk purchasing, direct manufacturer sourcing, or consolidating orders to reduce costs.
Negotiate better pricing with existing suppliers.

? Supplier Research & Sourcing
Identify new suppliers beyond AliExpress (direct manufacturers, wholesale platforms, etc.).
Compare pricing and quality to determine the best sourcing options.
Build relationships with multiple vendors to create competition and secure better deals.

? Price Comparison & Cost Optimization
Track and analyze supplier pricing to find the most cost-effective options.
Monitor industry trends and raw material costs to anticipate price changes.
Develop a cost-reduction strategy while maintaining product quality.

? Supplier Management & Performance Tracking
Maintain a supplier database with pricing history and performance records.
Ensure product quality, reliability, and timely delivery from suppliers.
Troubleshoot supplier-related issues and recommend solutions.

? Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work with the Fulfillment team to ensure cost-effective sourcing aligns with product availability.
Coordinate with Finance to track cost savings and update financial forecasts.
Communicate with Customer Service regarding product quality concerns.

? Reporting & Analysis
Provide monthly reports on cost-saving initiatives and COGS reduction progress.
Track key metrics such as percentage of cost reductions, supplier performance, and pricing trends.
Make data-driven recommendations to further lower costs.

Qualifications & Skills:
? Experience in procurement, supplier management, or cost analysis (preferably in e-commerce).
? Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
? Familiarity with AliExpress and other global sourcing platforms (Alibaba, DHgate, etc.).
? Knowledge of bulk purchasing, supplier contracts, and cost reduction strategies.
? Ability to work independently and make strategic sourcing decisions.
? Proficiency in data tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets, ClickUp).
? Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Rate is $3-$4 per Hour
