JOB OVERVIEW

Leading the strategic optimization of client Amazon accounts across Seller and Vendor Central platforms for a UK-based agency. This role requires an Amazon expert who can execute advanced marketplace strategies and drive measurable growth through technical optimization.

Core Technical Requirements

Amazon Expertise

Deep understanding of Amazon's A9/COSMO algorithm and ranking factors
Expert knowledge of Seller Central platform (Vendor Central knowledge a plus)
Experience improving organic search rankings
Knowledge of listing optimization and conversion rate improvement
Understanding of Amazon's backend systems and catalog structure

Performance Optimization Skills

Ability to conduct thorough account audits
Experience with listing optimization and conversion rate improvement
Knowledge of inventory performance metrics
Understanding of search term reports and keyword optimization
Experience with competitive analysis
Knowledge of international marketplace requirements

Key Responsibilities

Account Strategy & Optimization

Conduct regular account audits

Implement optimization strategies for:

Organic search rankings
Conversion rates
Search term performance
PPC efficiency
IPI scores
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies
Optimize backend search terms and indexing

Technical Implementation

Implement advanced listing optimization techniques
Set up inventory management systems
Create cross-marketplace listing strategies
Establish performance tracking systems

Listing Optimization

Optimize product titles and bullets
Develop keyword-rich product descriptions
Create content briefs for the graphic designers (A+ Content, brand story, storefronts, video ads)
Implement backend search terms
Maintain listing compliance standards

Performance Analysis

Create performance dashboards
Track competitor activities
Monitor key growth metrics
Analyze market trends
Generate ROI reports
Provide data-driven recommendations

Team Collaboration

Work with UK-based team members
Coordinate with catalog specialists
Participate in strategy meetings
Document processes and procedures
Share knowledge and best practices

Required Experience

3+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace management
Proven track record of growing accounts
Experience with food & drink brands preferred
History of improving organic rankings
Strong PPC optimization background
Experience working with UK/US clients

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel/data analysis capabilities
Experience with Amazon seller tools
Knowledge of optimization software
Understanding of inventory management
Familiarity with flat file systems
Experience with reporting tools

Communication Requirements

Excellent written and verbal English
Professional communication style
Experience with remote work
Ability to explain technical concepts

Working Hours

Must overlap with UK business hours (4-6 hours minimum)
Flexible schedule within required overlap
Some flexibility for urgent issues

Available for client calls when needed
